No matter where you find yourself in life, there is a Sunday School class for you. We encourage you to visit several classes until you find one you feel is appropriate for you.
Children’s Classes
On Sunday mornings there are classes for infants through 6th grade. These classes are broken into three different age groups; birth-2 years old, Preschool for children ages 3-5, and an older elementary group for children in grades 1-6.
If parents prefer, infants and toddlers may remain with our childcare staff after Sunday School while they attend worship. Parents of children 3 years old to sixth grade are asked to pick up your children for worship services.
Youth • Grades 7 – 12
We have an outstanding leadership team who plan and coordinate activities that are fun, exciting and spiritually stimulating for our teenagers. The Youth Room is located on the second floor and Sunday School takes place at 9:45 a.m. TMBC recognizes that each age group – middle school and high school – are at different levels in their spiritual development. Therefore, through various activities, retreats and Bible studies, we do our best to relate the gospel message to each teenager in a way that each can understand God’s individual calling in his/her life. We place emphasis on loving God and loving our neighbors as Jesus commands in Matthew 22:36-40.
Journey
Our Journey Sunday School Class is open to singles and couples in their 20s to 40s and will use lessons that are appropriate for new believers, seasoned Christians, and everyone in between.
Koinonia
The Koinonia class is composed of couples and individuals ranging in age from late 40’s – 70’s. This class offers a friendly Christian atmosphere with spiritual growth, prayer, support, fellowship, and an extended family. The teaching style centers on a discussion-led format with a strong focus on life application.
Families of Faith
Families of Faith members are adults with multi-age children. This class consists of a lecture/dialogue Bible study mixed with periodic studies on parenting, marriage enrichment, etc.
Progressive
The Progressive Class is comprised of approximately 25 senior adults in their 60’s, 70’s, and 80+. The teaching style is a combination of lecture and discussion of textual and historic analysis of the Scriptures to try to discern their original message
Truthseekers
The members of this class are adults ages 40 - 60, most of which have children from elementary school through college. Truthseekers is a discussion-based class with a strong emphasis in life- application of biblical principles utilizing a variety of teaching “styles.”
