Fran Wilson, Pianist
Fran has been playing the piano in churches since she was in the 5th grade. She studied piano at ECU under Dr. Elizabeth Drake. While at ECU, she accompanied the Women’s Chorus and University Chorale. Rounding out her schooling, she holds a BS in Education.
Fran taught school 33 years in Pitt County and is now retired. As accompanist, she was part of Adoration, which performed at the White House and Carnegie Hall. Presently, she accompanies the Greenville Choral Society’s Chamber Choral and the Children’s Chorus, the chorus at Hope Middle School, and the Chancel Choir at The Memorial Baptist Church. Her family consists of her husband, John; children, Sharon and Ben; and grandsons, Caleb and Chip.
