Children’s Ministry
Our programs are carefully designed to be age appropriate and engaging while teaching our children the foundations of Christian life. We are committed to following Jesus’ example by welcoming children into our church family. Our schedule encourages children to engage with the Bible, missions, music, discipleship, fellowship, and more. There are also special activities and events throughout the year and some are just for children and others are for the entire family. We can help you find your place and look forward to seeing you at TMBC.
Sunday School
Sunday School takes place each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and classes are structured based on age groups. Classes are located in the Children’s Wing on the first floor and is easily accessed from the back entrance near the playground that also serves as our Weekday Preschool entrance. If parents prefer, infants and toddlers may remain with our experienced child care workers and volunteers for the worship hour.
Children are encouraged to participate with their parents in worship. After the Offertory, children through Kindergarten are invited to exit for Extended Session where they will have a Bible lesson. Because we encourage children to worship with their parents we provide worship bags with supplemental materials such as a white board and coloring sheets. We love questions and pictures drawn by our children that reflect their worship experience!
